Adding a Gmail Account to Your iPhone

Step 1: Open Settings

  1. Unlock your iPhone and go to the Home screen.
  2. Tap on the "Settings" app, which looks like a gear icon.

Step 2: Access Passwords & Accounts

  1. In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap on "Passwords & Accounts".

Step 3: Add Account

  1. Tap on "Add Account".

Step 4: Select Google

  1. From the list of email providers, select "Google".

Step 5: Enter Google Account Information

  1. You will be redirected to a Google login page.
  2. Enter your Gmail email address and tap "Next".
  3. Enter your Gmail password and tap "Next" again.

Step 6: Grant Permissions

  1. You may be prompted to grant permissions for the iPhone to access your Gmail account. Tap "Allow".

Step 7: Sync Options

  1. Once logged in, you'll see options to sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes.
  2. Select the items you want to sync by toggling the switches next to each option.

Step 8: Save the Account

  1. After selecting your sync options, tap "Save" in the top right corner.

Step 9: Access Your Gmail

  1. Go back to your Home screen.
  2. Open the Mail app to start using your Gmail account.

You have successfully added your Gmail account to your iPhone!
